LUMBERTON — Events promoting a healthier lifestyle have been scheduled at Southeastern Health’s Community Health Education Center.

— Nutrition Session: Community Nutritionist Cameron Karrenbauer will host health and wellness jeopardy on Wednesday at 9 a.m. The event is free and wellness credit will be offered for Southeastern Health employees in attendance.
— Information Session: Local ophthalmologist Dr. Scott Mouser will speak on glaucoma at noon on Jan. 15.
— Walk with a Doc: Physician Assistant Catherine Gaines will host Walk with a Doc on Jan. 17 at 11 a.m., which will include a brief presentation on cervical health followed by a stroll around the mall.
— Double Bunco: Southeastern Health’s PrivilegesPlus group will play Double Bunco on Jan. 21 at 2:30 p.m. This event is for members of the PrivilegesPlus group only.
— Nutrition Bingo: Community Nutritionist Cameron Karrenbauer will host nutrition bingo on Jan. 23 at 9 a.m. The event is free and wellness credit will be offered for Southeastern Health employees in attendance.
— Information Session: Healthy Communities A-Z Project Specialist Carlotta Winston will present on Letter Z: Zero in on health and wellness on Jan. 24 at 11 a.m.
— Webinar: A free webinar will be streamed at noon on Jan. 25. The topic is “Cancer and Genetics: When Cancer Runs in Your Family.” This event is offered for free in partnership with the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
